How to Knit an Easy Baby Blanket

The blanket is knit from corner to corner, increasing until you reach the widest point and then decreasing back down to create a square.

The blanket will measure approximately 96cm by 96cm (38in by 38in). If you want to make a bigger blanket, all you need to remember is that for the increasing half, each stripe takes the amount of yarn used in the first stripe plus two times the amount of yarn used in the first stripe, and the decreasing half uses the opposite yarn quantities.

  • 70 yards of Cascade 220 Superwash in Taupe for Color A
  • 210 yards of Cascade 220 Superwash in Green for Color B
  • 350 yards of Cascade 220 Superwash in Neon Orange for Color C
